Cultural Wars and Contempt

I was recently asked by a friend in America to offer an outsider’s opinion on what is happening in American College Ministry. I wrote the draft letter this morning and my conclusion is that the incessant focus on cultural dominance and contempt for anyone who disagrees with my group’s ”Truths” may well be two of the largest obstacles in reaching students at America’s colleges. Having boldly gone where no sane man should go, I’m curious what outsiders make of our European situation. Is compliance and capitulation our great scourges? Or some other combination of human frailty? Feel free to offer up solicitous opinions, advice or just plain old humor!
